Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter, better known by her stage name of Ari Lennox, is an American musician and singer from Washington, D.C., who was the first woman to sign with J. Cole's Dreamville Records record label. Her debut EP Pho, released which was released on 21 October 2016 was released on Dreamville Records. Her career began to grow in notoriety. Shea Butter Baby her debut studio release was May 7th 2019. Ari Lennox posted her music to the internet in 2012 after she released her five Finger Discount mixtape and Ariography EP in 2013. The singer continued uploading her songs online throughout 2014 and released her own single Bound. In 2015, she appeared on Omen's Elephant Eyes Album, which came out on the 21st July. it out on 21st July. J. Cole, who was part of the Dreamville crew at that time and wanted her to perform on Rihanna references. On December 8 that she was signed to Dreamville Records. The album Revenge of the Dreamers II, she appeared on the track Backseat with Cozz. The 21st of October, 2016, she dropped her debut EP called Pho. Ari Lennox later appeared on J. Cole's hit song Change and also performed as the opener on the 4 Your Eyez Only Tour in 2017. In 2018, she was able to guest feature on two songs with her labelmates EarthGang on Nothing but the Best and Bas on Icarus. Ari Lennox, on the 16th of July 2018 she released her debut single "Whipped Cream" from Shea Butter Baby. The music video to accompany it was also released on September 5th. In November, she dropped two singles, forty Shades of Choke & Grampa. In November 2013, she released No One and Pedigree. She appeared with Cole on her Creed II Soundtrack on Shea Butter Baby the 16th of November 16th, and she released the song as a solo single to her debut album. In February of 2019, a music clip was released for the song. It has already received more than three millions views on YouTube within the initial week. In December of 2018, she was part of the From East Atlanta With Love Tour that featured 6LACK.
